Farm Life: Rodeo, Color

P1050633Continuing on my theme of color, when we attended the annual rodeo Saturday, I had in mind to take images that captured the subtle colors of the riders, bulls, and horses: boots, designs on chaps, tassels on vests and gloves, etc.  We have had a dry, hot week.  Most of what my camera captures was dust, in all it variations of brown to tan to sand colored.  The bulls seemed tougher this year.  There were twice as many barrel-riders.   So, enjoy so images, while listening to your favorite rodeo song.

About hermitsdoor

Up here in the mountains, we have a saying, "You can't get there from here", which really means "We wouldn't go the trouble to do that". Another concept is that "If you don't know, we ain't telling." For the rest, you'll have to read between the lines.
