      The galleries appeared more crowded that 25 years ago when I travelled by myself. Yet, then, because I was not part of a tour, I could ignore the flow of humanity. I did notice a bit of the “rush hour” accordian-effect. When our guide waited a few minutes at a location, suddenly the bumper-to-bumper traffic would ease up for 20 or 30 seconds, at which point we could see what he was describing.
